Generally the store is ok. Enough choices and laid out pretty well. The staff (who I dealt with) were polite and helpful. Just on this one occasion the cafe let it down. Not enough staff to deal with the influx of customers wanting a hot drink and hot food. The cashier was making the coffees and serving whilst I wasnt sure what everyone else was doing. To be fair the staff in the cafe were run off their feet with no management there to help (when do they ever)
I called this store multiple times to try to get the customer service desk. I was on holds for 10 minutes and got no answer, then called and chose a different department. Again I was on hold for 10 minutes with no answer. I was then put through to the main switchboard who said they could put me through to a better more direct number. This resulted in me hearing a ringing tone for 5-10 minutes with no option to go back to the switchboard. Do these numbers connect to any phones?
Asda is great for shopping. And you can pick up some lovely bargains. And the staff are really helpful. The clothes are really lovely and you can fit all your family out with clothes.
Easy to access by car , more in Penryn than Falmouth. Good range of products in a clean modern store. Pharmacy, cafe and bureau du change as well. Good number of disabled bays close to store but they don't seem to be patrolled. Fuel station with 24 hour pay at pump. However recent late visits find the Pay at pump not working and the petrol station closed.
Big, spacious and a huge range of stock. Great sales on clothing and food bargains later in the day. Happy and friendly staff that have worked there for a long time and get to know the customers. They have the new self scan technology and self service tills. I prefer to go through a staffed till to support the workers but each to their own. Always clean and tidy and brightly lit. There is a moving walkway between floors and a lift. They have a huge carpark and a petrol station.
