Lovely cosy pub, log burner and pool table an beer garden.
I don't get to the Barrel that often which is a shame. Its a good, honest bar. Staff are always pleasant, has a handy little car park, and a nice beer garden. Plus, as well as the usual token fizzy cider they sell a real cider too. What's not to like?

Lovely pub in the heart of Penryn. I went on a chilly November evening and found a great range of beers, friendly bar staff and regulars, cosy log fire and a fun barrel-shaped doorway. Well worth a visit.
