Fantastic service from the people here, helped so much, even when busy took the time to talk me through my forms.
I think 1 star is actually being generous! What an utterly horrible, stress inducing, infuriating, anxiety provoking experience going to this Post Office is. It is run by a couple of totally rude, spiteful, unhelpful, patronising, condescending, unprofessional and thoroughly unpleasant individuals (and I would assume unhappy individuals) I think the man has the edge though. I will never be returning or recommending.
Rude, and my usual post office st day are loverly staff never questioning what I'm posting. Penryn made me feel unwelcome, nosey. Next time I'll stick to my own post office
Everyone entitled to their opinion...but really cannot understand the negative comments about this local P/O l will go out of my way to use this place...helpful,friendly and knowledgable staff...who went out of their way to help reduce the cost of sending items to my daughter up North...even when they had previously given me a leaflet to explain the parcel system....that l could not wrap my head around...!!! and to top it all they looked after my parcel....(instead of lugging it home) until l could make it back next day with the 2nd package and post them together at half the cost...!!! TOP CUSTOMER SERVICE....Thanx ;)
As per normal, I ended up in a row with the female counter assistant who was rude and insistent that I should pay 6.50 'special delivery' on an item, as opposed to normal 'proof of posting', this despite there being other customers in store. I have been to this PO twice in the last 4 months and twice this has happened. In future, I will continue to use Mabe or Penryn where the service is far more convivial, if less convenient.. If I didn't trust the Royal Mail to deliver an item, then I would not use the Post Office or RM at all. Avoid. There are plenty of alternatives.
